What's New with ACEIT

The ACEIT 7.3a Patch is available as a downloadable update to patch the production version of ACEIT 7.3, which was released in April 2011.  We waited longer than usual to release a patch in order for the community to give 7.3 a good workout. The ACEIT 7.3a patch contains fixes and enhancements to ACE, CO$TAT, POST, Librarian, ACDB, and the Excel-to-ACE plug-in. We are pleased to introduce Joint Analysis of Cost and Schedule (JACS), a new member of the ACEIT suite, which is available for download from the patch download page. 

Following are a few of the key items addressed in this patch:

• Military Standard WBSs, including expansions and definitions, were replaced in ACE to reflect the newly released MIL-STD-881c.
• Includes the complete 2012 Inflation Database
• Fixed memory leaks related to large definitions
• Eliminated errors occurring while saving the recovery file, which in rare cases caused the session to be lost
• Improved performance of the ACE Inputs/Results Viewer (IRV) Inputs view, particularly with many overrides
• Repaired issues with DEC column conversions from version 7.2 to 7.3, where the summing setting was lost
• Eliminated several POST unexpected error problems when generating reports and linking to a different session.
