What's New with ACEIT

There is a new installation file available to install the ACEIT System Inflation Database to update the 2008 Inflation Indices to include the latest NASA and US Coast Guard rates. The Army, AF, Navy, USMC, MDA, SOCOM, NAVSEA and MARAD rates have not changed since the February update.

You will be required to login to the site as your DMS must be current to receive inflation updates.

Note: NASA now uses a different methodology to develop the indices. Adjustments to the 2008 indices reach back to FY98. The "new" approach returns to the earlier practice of weighting the inputs from Global Insights.The weighting is similar to that used in the 90's and is consistent with the approach utilized by other Governmental entities working in the space sector. In addition to the weighting of inputs, the new approach added several labor categories and inputs for several material types as well as incorporating specific factors for fuels and utilities.

This inflation indices update is for use with ACEIT 5.1 and above. The update includes the latest indices as of 7 November 2008.
