UntitledLearn how to use ACE from the perspective of a model reviewer
Course Length: 2 Day (8:30am – 4:30 pm)
Description: This is a hands-on course using ACEIT 8.0. This course is designed for students reviewing cost models built in ACE. Students practice understanding how a model is built, what to look for in the results, and the features in ACE specific to a reviewer’s responsibilities.
You'll learn how to:
P Navigate a WBS | P Create reports and charts |
P View documentation | P Check for consistent uncertainty parameters |
P Interpret calculation errors | P Ensure reasonable uncertainty results |
P Validate best practices | P Debug and fix common cost model issues |
P Dissect equations | P Much, much more... |
P View and create what-if cases | |
Prerequisites:Successful students should already have a basic knowledge of the cost estimating process and reviewer’s responsibilities. This course focuses on how to use ACEIT and does not teach underlying cost estimating principles. Having used ACE before in some capacity would be beneficial but not necessary.
